We work with you, the broker, or the yard to arrange vessel access, a haul-out for below-waterline inspection where applicable, and a sea trial when it's part of the scope.
A methodical, standards-based inspection of structure, systems, safety equipment, and machinery — thoroughly photographed. You're welcome to attend; many buyers find it invaluable.
You receive a comprehensive report — findings graded by severity, recommendations, standards citations, and valuation where requested — typically within about 48 hours.

Reading Your Report
Every report organizes findings by priority, so you know what needs attention now versus what's routine. Each finding states what was observed, why it matters, and the recommended action — with the relevant USCG, ABYC, or NFPA reference where applicable.

Important items affecting use, reliability, and value — deferred maintenance.

Inspections reference the mandatory standards of the U.S. Coast Guard (Title 46 U.S.C.; Titles 33 & 46 CFR) and the voluntary standards of the American Boat & Yacht Council (ABYC) and the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) — the same framework insurers and lenders trust.
